Before & After
What exactly is Endotine?
It is both an absorbent implant that secures the exfoliated tissue and a skin-fixing implant that pulls the five protuberances. (The products were approved for safety by the US FDA and the Korean Food and Drug Administration.)
Endotine is a cutting-edge lifting material that does not require sutures and can be applied and secured in a variety of directions. It is bioabsorbable and will be absorbed safely into the body in 6 to 12 months.
The patient is given sedation and anesthesia, and the procedure takes approximately 2 hours.
The surgeon creates five small incisions, each about 1 cm behind the hairline of the forehead.
Using an endoscope for visibility, the surgeon carefully separates the skin and some muscles, which contributes to forehead wrinkles, and the muscles that cause glabellar frown lines.
The surgeon lifts the detached skin to smooth out any creases and repositions the eyebrows in a more desirable position, fixing them in place.
In cases where the forehead is excessively broad, the surgeon removes a portion of the forehead and pulls down the hairline to achieve a more proportional appearance.
Common side effects such as bleeding and infection may occur post surgery and varies according to each patient.
Endoscopic Forehead Lifting FAQs
Contrary to surgery utilizing a thread, Endotine constantly maintains the lifting effect.
As it is eliminated by the body within a year, there is no discomfort like the aftertaste of foreign chemicals.
If the brows and forehead are sagging, an endoscopic forehead lift may be a more straightforward and efficient procedure.
Because it pulls in the entire forehead, including the brows, this procedure can improve the double eyelids, eye area, and even the forehead and glabellar lines.
